Q: How long have you been teaching at Rousseau? Teaching altogether?
A:I have been teaching since 1998. I have been teaching at Rousseau since 2010 and loving every minute of it!
Q: What subjects do you teach/have you taught?
A: I used to teach French Immersion Kindergarten, Core French and ELL(English Language Learners). I have taught Grades SK, 2,3,4, Core French and I have worked at A.M. Cunningham School and Bell Stone School
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: I have many hobbies and when I can find the time, I enjoy travelling the most! I also love to read, ride my bicycle, and cook!
Q: What's your favourite part about teaching?
A: My favourite part about teaching is that every year it is different. You get to know new students, the curriculum is always changing and so is your teaching style as you grow as an educator. I also enjoy the fact you are able to be creative and come up with some interesting ideas/projects to engage your students. I am motivated by the fact that every student is unique and different and I see it as a challenge to discover what works best for them as a learner. Teaching is a very rewarding career as you have the opportunity to make an impact on your students.
